“This past week, we had an amazing two days with Liza Amlani of Retail Strategy Group. I decided to bring Liza in because one of the things we noticed with our small retailers is that they do not have the same resources and tools that much larger national brand retailers have at their fingertips. Think in terms of merchandising and inventory management control. These are some of the things that our retailers have to learn on the job. We just curbed that learning curve. We brought Liza in and she spent two days with the team training them on foundational retail assessments. We dove into merchandising. We learned what was best in class. We now know when we walk into a store, there are certain things we look for to see if an independent retailer is leveling up their retail experience for their customer. I’m so excited to say that it was an absolute success!”
